OBJECTIVES

The general objective of the DATA-READY project is to enhance data literacy skills in compulsory education across Europe by developing a comprehensive framework, building the capacity of teachers, and promoting evidence-based policies and practices.

Specific objectives

To map existing practices, policies, and methods related to data literacy education in compulsory education across partner countries.
To develop a European-wide framework that defines the domains, learning outcomes, and progressions for data literacy skills in compulsory education.
To enhance the capacity of pre-service (HEI students) and in-service teachers by developing training programs and resources for effectively integrating data literacy concepts into their teaching practices.
To pilot and experiment with the developed framework and training programs in partner countries, evaluating their effectiveness and gathering evidence-based insights.
To analyse the results of the experimentation phase and propose policy recommendations for the transferability and sustainable implementation of data literacy education strategies.
To raise awareness and promote the importance of data literacy education through dissemination activities, social media campaigns, and stakeholder engagement.
