Reflection of the Workshop
During the workshop, stakeholders received a clear and well-structured introduction to the project and the research findings to date. The event successfully created an open platform for discussion and fostered strong interest in the topic of data literacy as well as in continued collaboration. This laid a solid foundation for ongoing dialogue and active stakeholder involvement in the project’s further development. Participants emphasized the value of including more concrete examples and practical cases from everyday school life to make the concept of data literacy more tangible for teachers and school leaders. These suggestions will be incorporated into the planning and design of future project activities to better address the needs and expectations of stakeholders. The online workshop format enabled the participation of a wide range of stakeholders from educational policy, administration, school practice, and teacher education. Remote access was particularly beneficial in facilitating broad and diverse exchange across regions and institutions. Nevertheless, it was noted that an in-person format might have supported interactive discussions and informal exchanges, especially regarding spontaneous questions. The time frame of one hour proved to be suitable. The feedback gathered provides valuable input for the ongoing development of the project. Future workshops and exchange formats will build on this input and offer further opportunities to collaboratively develop practical use cases. The overarching goal remains to ensure a sustained dialogue and the effective transfer of project results into educational practice.
