As part of the Erasmus+ DATA-READY project, we have successfully completed a first round of national stakeholder workshops across Greece, Germany, Cyprus, Portugal and Poland
These workshops brought together educators, policymakers, researchers and teacher educators to: discuss the current state of data literacy in compulsory education
identify challenges and opportunities for its meaningful integration
provide valuable insights for the development of a European Data Literacy Framework
The strong engagement and shared recognition of data literacy as a key 21st-century competence confirm the relevance of DATA-READY’s mission and lay a solid foundation for the project’s next phases.
Next steps include framework development, teacher capacity-building and evidence-based policy recommendations.
Stay tuned as we continue working towards making European education more data-ready.
